Although I like to keep an open mind I must confess that part of me was sceptical about “healing”.

I had been suffering with a bad pain in my back for several months which felt like a trapped nerve. Anne asked me if I would like some healing and I gratefully accepted thinking it probably would not work but anything was worth a try. I had one session. Two days later the pain was really bad all day and I thought “well that didn’t work then!”. The next morning I woke up and the pain had completely gone.

This was several months ago and I can honestly say that to date I have not had any recurrence of the pain at all. I do not know how it happened but I am very grateful to Anne as I honestly believe the healing session worked for me.

For years I have suffered with an inherent fear of flying and heights caused because of a childhood experience. Due to my fear, I have avoided doing some of the things that other might take for granted. Holidays aboard were a no go area, simple things like climbing up into a loft became a nightmare as was using open glass lifts, or open stairwells.

Since a teenager I have suffered with an allergy to all dairy products for reasons unknown. Prior to becoming a teenager, I have regularly enjoyed eating ice cream, cheese, eggs washed down with the occasional glass of milk. Throughtout my teenage years an much of my early adulthood, the things I had once enjoyed had been off limits. To take them my body revoted in the most horrid mannor by giving me large painful ulscers. Doctors, blood tests only confirmed what i already knew, and the advice was to avoid these foods altogether. Anne was recommended to me at a time when I was really feeling wretched. I had just lost my Dad suddenly and had just returned from Australia having buried him. I had a trapped nerve which started from the back of my neck and continued into my left arm and affecting my fingers. The pain was excruciating and constant. I could not find any comfort, no matter what position I chose and the pain killers and muscle relaxing that were prescribed made me physically ill. The physio which started immediately and was twice weekly was not making any difference. I also went to visit an osteopath before commencing physio, but that did not help.

As time went on I started to lose feeling in the fingers, which caused me some concern. The constant pain and lack of sleep had taken its toll. I was racked with pain; I was very distressed and didn’t know where to turn to or what to do.

At this stage Anne was recommended to me and to be quite honest I wasn’t expecting anything. She sat me down and explained to me about healing, what it was about and how it worked. She also explained how my personal loss had affected me, how a person reacts to trauma and why we become ill. I sat in the chair, eyes closed, trying very hard to relax and the healing commenced. After about twenty minutes I left and went home to rest as I was feeling tired.

The next day I awoke to find I was totally pain free, I was elated with joy and so very relieved. I entered my physio’s room and told him the good news. He told me in that case there was no point in us continuing treatment. No there wasn’t because I had totally recovered. I think that sometimes we are blind o alternate therapies as there are so many people that profess to perform miracles and are simply fakes.

Anne has studied her craft for many years and has years of experience and practice. Her manner is gentle and caring and I recommend her highly.

I have had healing from Anne on many occasions and I always enjoy them. The healings bring a sense of peace and calm. I work in a hospital which can be stressful at times and by having her healing it sets me up to be calmer in my approach to work; it also gives me a sense of clarity.
